Position: Region Manager in Training

City: Seattle

State: Washington

Join the leader of the in-hospital newborn portrait industry as they provide quality products and services directly to hospital accounts across North America. This sales driven organization is currently recruiting a Region Manager in Training in Seattle area to join their dynamic team. Relocation may be necessary at the conclusion of the training program.

Responsibilities include:

People Management:
  • After training, managing a staff of 40+ part-time entry level sales representatives to provide exceptional customer service in area hospitals.
  • Recruiting and hiring representatives using proactive recruitment strategies.
  • Coaching and developing representatives to deliver superior service levels, monitoring, coaching and counseling performance standards, addressing disciplinary actions and terminations as necessary
  • Providing leadership. Serving as a role model for the company's vision.

    Account Management:
  • Planning and visiting hospitals regularly to meet with hospital administrators to address program process and procedures.
  • Ability to execute company programs for all sites.
  • Monitoring of equipment and supply needs for accounts.
  • Negotiating hospital contracts.

    Business Analysis and Planning:
  • Communicating goals and methods to continually improve product quality, sales and hospital relationships.
  • Using business analysis skills to impact sales results
  • Managing a regional budget and maintaining expense goals as defined.

    Qualifications include:
  • Strong managerial skills, specifically across multiple sites, with solid experience in recruiting, hiring, leading, training and coaching entry level staff.
  • Background in sales management with account management experience (prefer familiarity with Maximizer or other contact management software).
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills including calendaring and time management. Project management skills a benefit.
  • Strong communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage/understand technology and troubleshoot as needed.
  • A B.S. degree in marketing or business preferred.

    Travel needs vary, but ability to travel at least 60% in the territory, including overnight travel. Note: there may be potential relocation after training program.
